VCS Directory

The VCS Directory is a fully searchable directory of voluntary and community organisations supporting individuals and running activities throughout York and North Yorkshire.

Organisations are listed with brief details of their activities and information on how to contact them. Searches will allow you to look specifically for an organisation by name (A to Z), or if that is unknown, you could search for organisations whose clients are, for example, older people and it will provide a list of all those who offer services to older people – you can further refine your search by specifying a demographic area that the organisation covers e.g. Hambleton, or services they provide e.g. advocacy. One of the benefits of the website is that it provides free publicity for your organisation or project.

The site also includes information about volunteering, local infrastructure organisations (LIO) and links to useful websites.
