Harrogate & District Volunteer Oscars

Harrogate and Ripon Volunteer Centres are delighted to be involved in the 4th Harrogate and District Volunteer Oscars, to be held on 4th November 2011. We would like to take this chance to invite all organisations to take part and nominate individuals, organisations and companies for their contribution to our communities.

We welcome nominations from across the district and for ease, you are able to nominate directly via the Harrogate Advertiser Website at www.harrogateadvertiser.co.uk

Categories in this years awards include: Young Volunteer of the Yea; Care Volunteer of the Year; Community Volunteer of the Year; Environment Volunteer of the Year; Sports Volunteer of the Year; Ackrill Media Group Unsung Heroes: Harrogate, Knaresborough,  Ripon & Boroughbridge and Nidderdale; New Volunteer of the Year; Oganisation of the Year; Corporate Engagement Award; Volunteer of the Year; Lifetime Volunteer; and new for this year, Trustee of the Year.

With all the doom and gloom that seems to be around at the moment, why not take a minute to nominate someone and help make this years Oscars ceremony the biggest and best yet? The Big Society is already happening in our District, so let’s celebrate those who really make a difference and give them the thanks and recognition that they deserve!
