The Forum recently responded to this new agenda by running a series of events and training sessions in Autumn of 2008. We continue in the Spring of 2009 with introductory courses at new locations and a course on 'Preparing for Commissioning in NY', further details are available on from our training programme.

Available for immediate download, North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) and NHS North Yorkshire & York (formerly North Yorkshire and York Primary Care Trust) have published "A Joined Up Vision of Health and Adult Social Care Commissioning and Service Delivery across North Yorkshire. A statement on integrated working across adult social care and health". This statement seeks to empower internal staff of both organisations to work in a more integrated way on behalf of people accessing their services and to share with others outside their agencies who may wish to contribute to the collaborative approach.
